It took 5 days for the service technician to finally respond to my multiple messages on the status of my car. It also took 15 days for my car to be repaired with no offer from Walker Chevrolet to provide alternate transportation. Ultimately my car was fixed and it's running fine, but the customer service at Walker Chevrolet is severely lacking.

In and out in about an hour

When I checked in I was told it would only take an hour. I specifically asked how long because I had another appointment to be at by 1pm. At 12:25 well over an hour after I arrived, the service guy came out with a list of $2500 worth of recommended work. I advised that I couldn’t do anything today bc I had to get going for a meeting and to please finish my Tahoe. He said it would be 5 minutes. It wasn’t ready until 12:45, an hour and 45 minutes after I had arrived. I had to miss my business meeting. The service guy didn’t seem to care and was more annoyed that I hadn’t accepted all of the additional services. If it were the first time this had happened, I wouldn’t have been as upset. But it is rare that I have a good experience here. Back in May it took several hours for an oil change/tire rotation. When I asked what the hold up was, everyone was bewildered and said they thought I had left. It’s been consistent bad customer service.

Got me the vehicle I wanted and the payment plan that I ask for,my sales guy,named Rich was very helpful and supportive of any questions that I had, would definitely recommend Walker Chevrolet for your car buying,it was my first purchase by myself and they made me feel at ease.

Overall the service was great. No appointed was scheduled, but vehicle was fixed after dropping off in the morning. Thank you!

Upon calling, I was told I had to tow my brand new vehicle I purchased at my own expense. Only after arguing did I find out that Chevy would tow it to the dealership. Both during a phone conversation and then when I arrived in person, I was told by my sales person there were no loaner vehicles available. I had to argue and demand to receive one otherwise I would not have been given a loaner vehicle. It took the service department three days to figure out what the problem was. Each time, I had to initiate the conversation to ask where things were at and how long it was going to take. This was for sure in my top five worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

Friendly folks had a few hecups but worked around them . Life happens but it all worked out great. C8 had Transmission issues day I bring it in transmission guy leaves. Then Dustin my sevice guy wife had their first child and Mark jump in to help.so the c8 was out of service for maybe 7 weeks. New Tran under warranty by 2 months all good.

This was the 2nd time I came in to get my recalls taken care of since I bought the truck. I was told when I bought it they had to order the heated seat parts. I got a call the 2nd week saying they came in. I went in for a scheduled appointment at 2:30 and was told the heated seat repair would take 2-3 hours and they’re probably wasn’t time that day. I rescheduled for two weeks out on a Monday 7am. I show up the 2nd time and wait 2 1/2 hours to be told they don’t have the heated seat parts. I ask them to recheck because Tracy said they were in. They checked and found the parts apparently under the dealers name because the parts were ordered before I bought the truck? I agree to wait even longer to finish the seat recall only to be told twenty minutes later there’s actually a third part they need to order. So now I am waiting for the other part to come in.

Friendly staff Clean facilities

Only had an oil and filter change. The Service Advisor was quick. Reasonable time for the oil and filter change along with checking other fluids on the truck. A Repair Estimate of the other fluids included brake flush, fuel induction service, coolant flush, tires and a two wheel alignment. I questioned a few of the requests because the truck on has 22,444 miles. I was curious why some of the requested repairs were needed with low mileage. Plus, the truck is parked in a garage most of the time. The cashier, Donni was very nice and helpful.

Exceptionally long wait - 3 hrs for a basic oil change w/ tire rotation. Tire rotation did NOT take place. Apparently the extended waiting period, which interfered with another apt I had, I was told was due to the sales person - don’t know his name - that couldn’t locate our “Tire Pkg.” to replace a tire that was damaged. This basic info should be available when pulling up our information in your system but because my husband & I have different names (not that uncommon) that was the reason stated.

$149 to chech the engine light, and $417.40 to replace what should have been less than a $100 Thermostat on a 2015 Tahoe, less than 30 minutes of work. Total bill was $644.29. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!!

All of my vehicles only go to Walker for all repairs

I was at Walker earlier than my appointment was and got everything fixed on my earlier appointment. I was informed by the agent on how much my bill would be.

In my opinion, this service took wayyy to long, just under two hours for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Hope this improves next time or I may need to shop around.

Its always an ease to schedule an appointment and when checking in it's just as easy. Mr. Burns is top notch when he's my advisor. Never do I feel he's trying to up-sale me when I come in for an oil change. He is a straight shooter he will tell what's really needed to repair or he will say hold off until the next appointment. Never does he try to pressure you into some type of service that's not needed. When my truck was ready he provided me a quick brief of the service and what is in store for the next visit. Keep up the great work.

Perfect service visit

The dealership team did everything they were supposed to do. I am not happy with the quality of Chevrolet. We have a 2018 Suburban we bought new in April 2019 with 43,000 miles on it. We had to replace the radio/display, the magnetic ride is leaking fluid, an oil line from the radiator to the cooler is leaking from a crimp, and a lift gate actuator. Over $7,000 worth of repairs right outside of the warranty range. The display in my opinion should be covered by GM being they are replacing at least one per month (according to the service writer) and the oil line that is leaking from a crimp. The magnetic ride is apparently junk if it only lasts 40,000 miles. I have been a chevrolet guy my whole life but this is really making me second guess buying any chevys in the future. My grandfather bought a new truck from Walker Cullum Chevrolet in 1968 and 1988. This was our first new vehicle purchase and went there for that reason. I will definitely be looking into other brands when it comes to our next purchase.

Great service for tire monitoring and oil change

Got my car serviced for a 36 month 3 year DCT transmission, fluid exchange, filter, and two extra quarts of trans fluid for track use. Service was performed to my satisfaction except they forgot to set my tire pressure to 30 psi. I had to have them redo that.

Sales was great. They were courteous and helpful. I felt like the finance guy was extremely slow in getting me processed, (I waited for almost 90 minutes and the store was not busy) especially since it was only a trade+cash deal. Additionally I couldn't understand his fast mumbling speech on trying to upsell me on warranty products so I simply said no to everything. At that point he felt the need to ask me if I was sure I didn't want it, THREE more times!!! I may have actually purchased something if he would have explained it better, but then when he kept pushing I definitely would not have bought anything from him.

The service staff were very professional and courteous. I had a sticker shock with the cost of services for my car, and needed to research and do some comparison shopping. The service staff were patient, and didn't push their service suggestions. I was able to call around and comparison shop. I called back and they were able to get the work done the same day. The prices were comparable to other mechanical shops

I had to have my car pulled in, not knowing what was wrong with it. It wasn’t long until they called to let me know the entire field injection system had gone out and that they would have to get it fixed for me. It was done in record time and I wasn’t down for a day. My insurance covered everything and my car is running great today. Thank you for being such a wonderful place to do business you’ll always have my business.

My vehicle was dropped off at 8am. I didn’t get my vehicle till after 3pm. I was there as a first time customer for a free oil change.

It was a very painful experience. Walker Chevrolet has always provided excellent service in the past, which is why we have purchased two suburbans from Walker. To start with, the service rep didn't provide me with an update on my suburban and didn't respond to several phone calls and a text message. In fact, I never heard from him at all over several days. I had to escalate to the service manager who was responsive and very helpful. It took over four weeks to get my suburban back. My suburban only had ~18,000 miles on it.

Poor experience all around. I brought in my 2024 Silverado that was throwing transmission error codes. The technician said the sensors, gaskets, etc needed to be replaced in my transmission. The cost with labor would be over $1400 and not covered under any warranties. My truck is a 2024. It is 2025, and these issues would not be happening unless they were bad parts from the beginning. I am selling this vehicle and never buying another Chevy.

Dropped off my 2020 GMC pickup for 75,000 mile maintenance early Monday and left on a 4day trip. Was notified the next day that maintenance had been completed. Picked the vehicle up on Friday and could tell immediately that the maintenance had been done as it performed much better. Completely satisfied!

I don't know if my problem was really solved but you could not find any issues. Daniel was great at helping and working with me.

Oil change for my 2012 Corvette

Had issue with thermostat, was diagnosed and repaired in a couple of hours. Dustin handled my service and did an excellent job.

came in for a oil change, while we were waiting for vehicle, rec text saying the air filter needed to be change, I approved the work. When we got the vehicle home, noticed the life of the air filter on the DIC was at 53% of life left... couple of concerns, did the filter needed to be changed? and why was the DIC air filter life not reset? Make we think of other work which I approved was not needed...

Made appt to have car checked for engine light being on (went off before the appt time). They checked the codes and said it was due to some software issue and "fixed' it. No problem with the actual work. My issue was I took the car in at 8:40am as set up and then never heard back from the dealership so at 4pm I text the service guy, then at 5pm I call and leave a message. Since they close at 6pm I had someone take me to the dealership because I knew it only takes a few minutes to run the diagnostic. On the way there I get a text saying my car is ready. Found out that it had been ready all day but the paperwork got laid aside and no one asked about it I guess.

Alex, the salesman, was amazing. He was full of knowledge about the vehicle and a super great man to work with. Some of the other staff need to learn how to talk to people with respect, but after a couple weeks we agreed on a deal.

Hello, I arrived on time for my 10 am scheduled appointment on Veteran's Day, also that was my only day off from teaching in the classroom. I had to call Walker parts dept 3 weeks ago to set up an appointment to replace my car console. No one called me at all from Walker about the part coming in. Once I arrived, I was told by the new service person that it would be a 3 hour or more wait. I said to him I needed my vehicle because I had to attend a funeral at 1pm in Antioch. He went on to say, that my car would not be ready by then. And he went on about his service tech had to take a lunch break, and it would not be ready by 1pm. He mentioned that to me twice. Then he suggested a rental or Uber. After sitting for about an hour or so , he came into the waiting area and told me that the console they ordered was broken in the box and that I would have to come back the next day which was totally impossible because I just started this new teaching job in August. My problem with Walker is three weeks prior no one opened up the box to inspect the items inside?? I drove all the way from Smyrna burning up gas and mileage, not alone my time I can never get back! I'm not happy because now I have to drive back to Franklin again in 2 weeks, more gas, time and mileage gone! I need to be compensated for my situation and time, someone dropped the ball in the parts dept. I have not contacted GM headquarters yet , but I plan to do so. *Also, the cashier, with the very short hair needs to learn how to be nice to customers, she needs to take notes from Tracy, because she has class and great people skills. I brought my Colorado in for a squeaking noise coming from the suspension. I brought it in earlier this year for the same problem. After being unable to find the cause, the tech asked if they could keep the truck one more day. I agreed, but said I needed it the next morning. When 10am came and went, I texted the tech asking for an update. Crickets. Turns out he was on vacation. So I called early that evening and was told it was almost ready. I discovered after picking my truck up that a wheel cover was missing. It was found the next day. When I came in to have it put on, mechanics had broken the clips that hold the cover on. So one had to be ordered. All and all, not Walker Chevrolet’s finest hour.

I wanted to share some feedback about my service visit yesterday on my Tahoe. The staff themselves were kind and the actual oil change and rotation were done well. My frustration is more with the overall experience and the disconnect between what I was told when scheduling and what actually happened. When I made the appointment a couple of weeks ago, I specifically asked how long everything would take and whether the dent repair (covered under the warranty I purchased) could be done that same day. I was told the dent tech would be in on Tuesday and that the full visit would take about an hour. Based on that, I scheduled the appointment around my day. When I arrived, the dent tech wasn’t there and the team seemed unaware that I had even requested or needed that repair. I then learned the warranty I was sold doesn’t cover scratches, bumper areas, or paint issues — even though when I purchased it, the explanation was that it would cover everyday things like stroller scratches, shopping cart dings, marks from kids, etc. The salesperson was very kind when selling it, but the coverage I was shown yesterday is nowhere close to what I was told. The service ended up taking two hours instead of one, which caused me to miss my next appointment — something I tried to avoid by double-checking the timing in advance. When the dent tech finally arrived, he did fix the crease, but it wasn’t fully clean. I was also told he “did a big job for barely anything” and that I should be happy with it since the only way to fix it perfectly would be to pull the entire fender off. I understand the realities of dent repair, but being guilted for using a warranty I paid for wasn’t a great feeling. The service advisor even mentioned he has this same conversation with a lot of customers, which tells me this is a recurring issue with how the warranty is presented at the time of sale. Overall, the people were pleasant, but the experience felt disorganized and left me feeling like I was being talked down to simply for asking for what I was told my warranty covered. It’s frustrating to double-check timing, confirm the dent tech’s availability, and still end up waiting an extra hour and having to explain everything again when I arrived. I’m sharing all this not to be negative but because I really do like the dealership, and I want the experience to match the level of service you all aim to provide. Thats my honest feedback.

I’ve been coming here for service ever since I purchased my vehicle from this dealership. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, I was not greeted when I walked in. One man at the service desk looked directly at me, then went back to discussing sports stats with another man instead of acknowledging or assisting me. This was very disappointing, especially given my long history as a customer. It wasn’t until the cashier called out to me and asked if I had been helped that someone finally stepped in. After I told her no, she had to call another employee to assist me. I appreciate her noticing, but the service experience overall fell short of what I have come to expect.

Brought truck in several weeks ago, parts were ordered for replacement. After waiting for about an hour I was told the parts were wrong. Could the parts not been verified before appointment time? Dealership rep was asked if the needed photos were taken to handle another issue. I was assured they had been completed already and submitted. He then walked to the the truck and took the pictures, I consider that as being lied to,for no reason. A simple working on that now would have been fine.

The tech was great! My resolution was not I am now paying to replace the third light motor in my corvette. Since this car is antique and not driven but just over 1400 to 1600 miles,per year and rarely at night the replacement motor's, except for the original from the factory, last NO TIME AT ALL!!!! I called GM and registered a complaint and receive no help. It’s not the dealership it is the quality of replacement parts! Three motors in 25;years!!!!!!!! And not even a complimentary OIL CHANGE!!!? I bought my first Chevy in 1960 and currently have three in my garage and have many over the years. The quality must have slipped as is indicated by my experience with this light motor. It’s not the dealer it is GM and their lack of customer service,and another $500 -$800 dollars for a motor. It certainly doesn’t help the brand having a spotless sharp vette going down the highway with on headlight cover POINTING UP in the daytime!

Advisor was great, and even though she informed me that they don't do shuttles on Saturday, offered to get me a ride home since the service was going to take longer than expected. The driver (Jose) was playing video games on his phone next to her so she asked him to take me, and he DID NOT want to do it. No conversation the whole way, definitely perturbed that she took him away from his phone video game. I was actually shocked at how obvious he was at his annoyance.

Check-in is complete chaos every time I arrive. No clear process of what to do. Impossible to find your advisor. Very disappointed in pricing of tire to replace one I just bought 3 months ago. No willingness to assist. In future will buy directly from tire dealer who always assists with tire insurance, etc.

I called before bringing an Equinox in for a diagnosis to figure out a battery drain issue. I spoke with Daniel and he was optimistic that one hour should have it diagnosed. I made an appointment for 12-16 to bring the car in. When I checked in at your dealership and asked for Daniel I was told he was in the oil change department and not qualified to talk about electrical issues. I then spoke with Dustin and he said these issues usually take three hours. Because the alternator was tested, new battery installed and assuming an experienced Chevrolet dealer could spot routine issues, I left the car with him to see what could be figured out in one hour. A hour after I left, Dustin called and said 30 minutes into the diagnosis the tech found too many issues and would take at least three hours to diagnose. I said to stop work and I will pick up the car. I was hoping to learn something in the one hour but did not. It was a waste of time and money.

Inconsistent communication. Classic and frequent up-selling. Dismissal of the extended warranty. Protracted wait time for greeting at pick up. Muddy vehicle (not my mud) at the time of pickup. I only go there because it is the closest.

First off everyone i delt with was very polite and willing to help out. The service guys just inside the drop off area seemed a bit over whelmed but it was early and I'm sure they were just getting started. My drop off was processed and i headed out to work. I felt the they processed my drop off in a timely manor. One area I would say could use improvement would be the communication. I dropped off my vehicle to have a transmission changed and a radiator. The only time I received an update on my vehicle was when I called. I would have appreciated a weekly call to give me updates so I can continue to plan for my company loaned vehicle.

There was no good customer service. To walk into service and no one look up and say hello, good morning, anything is not a good way to start off one’s experience. My vehicle was there for almost 4 hours for a very specific diagnostic. Service rep didn’t call to provide and updates, even if it was just to say my car wasn’t ready yet and apologize for the long wait.

I’ve always had a great experience when taking my trucks to service. Mr. Hicks was friendly and professional. He seemed busy working the phones and tending to other customers but once my SUV was ready he took the time with me to go over the services performed. He also advised me to enroll in the GM rewards for future savings.

Even though the repairs seemed a little pricey, I knew they would be able to diagnose the issues and get them fixed correctly. I also appreciate their service team for being customer service friendly.

We left our last service experience quiet frustrated. We had scheduled the tahoe for 4x4 fluid service and transmission flush - as it had been recommended previously. Two specific issues: 1) Loaner vehicles - the policy and / or communication around loaner vehicles is very frustrating. During my previous visit, I was told that if I dropped off a vehicle the night before, I could get a loaner (depending on availability of the loaner). When we confirmed our appointment, we were told that our scheduled service did not allow for a loaner. When I dropped off the vehicle, I was told that I could have gotten one, but there just weren't any available. I specifically scheduled this appointment with the expectation of being able to utilize a loaner as being without the vehicle for the day doesn't functionally work for us. 2) I had also mentioned a noise coming from the rear end. When we called the dealership to understand the status of the vehicle, they said it was ready to pick-up. When we got there, they told us what was wrong with the rear end and that it would require another appointment. Much to our dismay, we were also informed that the dealership chose not to perform any of the other fluid service that we had scheduled. Our frustrations are now compounded - if we had had a loaner vehicle, we could have easily left the vehicle as long as was needed for the repairs - instead, we have to try and arrange a drop-off / pick-up and have no idea how long the vehicle will be there (am told it could be up to 3 days for them to determine if they'll need to order parts) - meanwhile our family balancing on one vehicle. We'll likely be looking for other service providers prior to scheduling our next appointment here - Thank you - KW

Always excellent service

Daniel Burns was my service advisor when I came in on 11/28/25 for an oil change and tire rotation. Daniel has been my service advisor the last few times I have come in for service, and he is great. He is always friendly and gets the process started quickly. Service was prompt, taking only 30-40 minutes. I feel like I do not have to worry when I bring my car into Walker Chevrolet for maintenance.

I dropped my car off a half day early for an appointment the next morning at 7:40. I checked an hour later to see the status and was told my tech was off and they were unsure of where,it was? I called the service manager and reported the problem. My car service was completed by 1:40!!!!!! It was supposed to be a two hour job that took 6 hours apparently because my tech was off sick????? The manager told me there were systems in place to cover such issues? It didn’t work! This is just one bad experience I have had with service at this location. I have over the years spoken face to face with the service manager and he has been involved in those incidents. I hesitate to take my car there because of these bad experiences. Dropped my vehicle to get a radiator hose replaced due to coolant leak. I was told the part was on back order and to expect at least two weeks. Service rep was able to put me in a vehicle. I ended up getting my vehicle back within a week and so far no leaks. I will Continue to monitor the squeaky breaks at low speeds. Was told that is a common issue with my model. The dealership was great and it was all a smooth process. Much better customer service at walker Chevrolet in Franklin TN. I bought my vehicle from Murfreesboro Chevy GMC and will not be doing anymore business with them due to poor customer service. Thankful for Walker they are a great dealership closer to home. Will continue doing business with them.

I called for an appointment and had to schedule 5 days in advance, not optimal. But my service technician, Tyler, was courteous, attentive, and easy to understand. I also spoke to Chris and explained what my vehicle was doing, and he zeroed in on the problem. The cashiers were very nice and my vehicle was brought right up. My suggestion (just a thought) when a customer spends $8500 on a repair, wash the vehicle for them. That would be a nice touch

After taking my truck to the dealer I bought my truck from 3 different times and nothing getting fixed on it,each time they had it between a week to 10 days. I decided to contact walker and see if they could find the problem. They had my truck fixed within a couple hours. I wouldn't hesitate to take my truck back to walker again for service.

They addressed my concern, which was handled in a timely manner. The reason I did not give 5 stars is for the lack of bonus customer service care. The display panel showed low air in the front tire. It would’ve been nice if they had added air. Additionally, the car was filthy from sitting on the lot in the rain. A quick wash would’ve been a great surprise. Lastly, the ladies who received our payment were not friendly. All business and no charm! What I took my car in for was addressed, I just didn’t leave with warm fuzzies.

Spoke to both of them when I picked the Suburban up.Evidently, the same glitch has happened a couple of times in the past few days. Get on it!

Derek Agnew was my salesman and he was a pleasure to work with. David McCormick was very kind and a good salesman in that he talked us into extra warranties. Hope they're worth it if I have to use them. I'm 59 years old and this was my first new car purchase ever and I didn't realize the hidden cost added to the advertised price and all the extra options as far as warranties that I was afraid not to add. It did hurt that I went in prepared to buy a car priced at $25,000 and ended up paying over $31,000 when all said and done. No fault of my salesman!

Had oil change, everything was fine except the sticker for my next oil change. You must use some miracle oil because according to my sticker, I want have to get my oil changed again until I drove 1,117,654 mile, or 7/11 I guess which ever comes first
